Aphranel Announces EU Certification and New Innovations

— June 8, 2026 — Marketing
Aphranel is a regenerative aesthetics brand based in Shanghai, and recently, it marked its first anniversary by announcing a number of developments.

For one, the company received European Union Medical Device Regulation certification for its Calcium Hydroxyapatite Microsphere Injectable Facial Filler. It also launched a second product called MagicCrystal Arc for facial contouring. Aphranel also noted it has delivered over 150,000 syringes across China within its first 12 months on the market.

The company’s original CaHA filler received China’s first Class III approval for such a product in May 2025, and the newly obtained EU MDR certification, granted after two years and seven months of review involving more than 6,300 pages of technical documentation and over 120 internal regulatory meetings, makes Aphranel the first China-originated and China-manufactured facial injectable filler to achieve this designation, as well as the first CaHA microsphere filler from the Asia-Pacific region certified under the EU MDR framework.
