Sun King Brewery, a proudly independently owned Indiana brewery that has spent the last 15 years carving out a reputation as one of the most reliable purveyors of premium craft beer in the state of Indiana, has launched a proudly American lager that pays homage to brewing tradition in the state.
The Indianapolis Brewing Company Lager takes its name from a company that managed to survive the Prohibition era by offering up non-alcoholic bases for sodas, malt extracts and other beverages, before eventually shuttering in the year 1947.
The beer itself takes the form of an all-malt light lager that is available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans. Scoring only 14 IBU (International Bitterness Units) and coming in at four percent ABV (alcohol by volume), this brew is designed to take great Hoosier brewing traditions to a broad audience.
