Long John Silver's recently introduced a new combo called the '$5 Reel Deal Box.' While Lent may be over, many fast food restaurants are sill hoping to attract consumers with new seafood options. This meal deal allows consumers to enjoy seafood and other popular menu items for one low price.
The new $5 Reel Deal Box is a combo meal that includes a drink, entree, side and dessert. Consumers can choose between two pieces of Alaskan Whitefish, two Chicken Tenders or one piece of Alaskan Whitefish and three pieces of shrimp. In addition to the chicken or fish, the combo also includes two hushpuppies, a medium drink of the customer's choice and a cookie made from Hershey's chocolate chips.
The new combo is designed to compete with similar meal deals from chains such as KFC and Popeyes.
