James Franco once again shows his love for the prematurely departed James Dean with the Rebel Art Exhibit, his first-ever curated art show. Inspired by the iconic 1955 film 'Rebel Without a Cause,' which centers around the theme of teen angst, the exhibit "is an extension of the film," as stated by Franco himself.
Held at the J.F. Chen exhibition space in Los Angeles, California, the Rebel Art Exhibit will showcase the work of such contemporary artists as Ed Ruscha, Paul McCarthy, Douglas Gordon, Terry Richardson, Aaron Young and, of course, Franco. The 50th anniversary of Dean's death motivated the American actor, who won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Dean, to put together this powerful art show.
