Frozen PB&J Sandwiches

Welch’s is Launching Real PB&Js Frozen Sandwiches at Select Walmart Stores

Welch’s Foods Inc. has officially entered the freezer aisle with the launch of new Real PB&Js frozen sandwiches.

Designed to offer the delicious taste of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a handy frozen format, the new sandwiches are made with fresh-baked bread, creamy peanut butter, and the Welch’s signature fruit spreads. Each 3.1-oz sandwich is individually wrapped, sold frozen, and contains 12 grams of protein. The sandwiches are also considered “a good source of fiber” and are “50% bigger than the leading national brand’s 2-oz sandwich," according to the company.

Welch’s new Real PB&Js are available in family-friendly six-count boxes at select Walmart stores across the United States. However, the company does expect to roll the frozen PB&J sandwiches out to additional retailers in 2027.
