Real-Life Costumed Vigilantes

A Real Life Batman Turns Over a UK Burglar in Costume

I’ve been waiting since childhood to see a real life Batman, and now that I have, I can die a happy man.

Apparently this real-life Batman really exists and he’s actually fighting crime. In this case, this costumed vigilante brought in a wanted burglar who was terrorizing in West Yorkshire. According to Reuters, “the costumed crime-fighter disappeared into the night without leaving his name.”

This whole thing raises a couple of questions. First, what is Batman doing in the UK instead of fighting crime in his native Gotham? How long until we get a real life Joker threatening to poison the British water supply? Finally, why does Batman’s costume look so cheap? You’d think a real life Batman wouldn’t have such a dime store costume going on. Regardless, real life Batman, I salute you!
