Nike's React Element 55 Receives a Vibrant 'Team Red' Makeover

Sportswear label Nike launches a new iteration of the React Element 55 sneaker silhouette in a bold colorway entitled 'Team Red.' The sneaker model is originally completed in a translucent finish throughout the uppers, but this latest version boasts opaque elements all throughout. The construction remains the same as the original with tonal exchanges -- the heel taping has some monochromatic touches of black and white and the same theme follows through to the signature foam sole unit.

The tongue patch is finished in a lighter red color and it meets a slight contrast the shoe's midsole plugs, which are complete in a slightly darker red. Branding details are seen in the form of the Swoosh at the heel and lateral area in a reflective metallic silver.
