80s-Inspired Grid Sneakers

size? Introduced a New React Element 55 Grid-Patterned Colorway

UK-based retail label 'size?' unveiled a new colorway of the signature Nike React Element 55 sneaker silhouette. The main inspiration behind the new iteration was drawn from the archival Escape Pack by Nike that was originally created in 1988 -- specifically, the new shoe draws tonal influence from the Windrunner, the Lahar sneaker, and the Air Force III shoes from the archival collection.

To accompany the retro design inspiration, there are some futuristic touches in the form of the nylon ripstop over the uppers to give a technical appeal. The main design that the latest React Element 55 shoes boast is the grid pattern in black and white over the entire uppers, contrasted with brown accents done in synthetic leather and suede.
