'Peeple' is a brand new app that allows users to rate people in their social network. While many people are active on social media, it can difficult to gauge someone's online reputation. This app provides an outlet for users to rate others and allow themselves to be rated.
Peeple is an app that gives users the opportunity to provide a rating and commentary on anyone they come in contact with. Users must be signed in through Facebook so that the app can access their social connections. The app then separates these connections into three categories: personal, professional and romantic. Users have the opportunity to rate people in their network and comment on how well they fit into each category. According to the Peeple website, the app is designed to help us "better choose who we hire, do business with, date, become our neighbors, roommates, landlords/tenants, and teach our children."
While the app is not for everyone, it may be a useful way to open up honest dialogue between friends and business connections.
