Compact Family Racing Karts

Toyota's GR Kart is an Entry-Level Racing Kart

Toyota created the GR KART as an accessible, family-minded racing kart with a purpose-built 215cc engine and a fuel system designed to let the vehicle sit upright without leaking gas or oil. The kart fits inside a Toyota Noah or Voxy minivan without disassembly and weighs 183 pounds.

The cockpit includes a tilting steering wheel and adjustable pedals so one chassis can accommodate drivers ranging from 4-foot-5 to 6-foot-1. Instead of a traditional chain drive, Toyota fitted a belt system with an automatic tensioner to reduce maintenance. Each purchase also includes a digital passport that provides immediate track access without requiring a separate racing license.

For families, the GR KART lowers barriers to entry by simplifying storage, sizing and maintenance, making karting easier to share among multiple drivers. Its practical features support Toyota’s broader goal of making grassroots racing more approachable as a family activity.
