The Quick Fit '7 Minute Workout' app condenses a workout regimen into a matter of minutes to help keep even the busiest of people stay in shape. The activities in the app were devised by the Human Performance Institute, which found that an intensified workout was just as powerful as a prolonged one.
The app has a total of 12 exercises, which last for about 30 seconds each. Between each activity, users are given 10 seconds of rest. The Quick Fit app is like a personal trainer, because it is designed to challenge, motivate and track progress over time.
For beginners, Quick Fit includes video instructions on how to complete each exercise properly, as demonstrated by a certified personal trainer. The app is available for $0.99 in the iTunes App Store and having it on your phone means there's no excuse not to find seven minutes in your day to be active.
