'QualiTech' Acquired 'Ellison Bakery' to Bolster its Services

QualiTech, a global manufacturer specializing in plant nutrition, animal nutrition, and food ingredient products, has acquired Ellison Bakery, a producer of baked goods and inclusion ingredients. The acquisition, announced on August 21, 2024, aims to enhance QualiTech’s capabilities by integrating Ellison Bakery’s diverse product range, which includes cookies, snack bars, crunches, toppings, and mix-ins. This strategic move is expected to expand QualiTech’s market reach and product offerings, leveraging Ellison Bakery’s established customer base and product solutions.

The acquisition marks QualiTech’s first major transaction since its purchase by MidOcean Partners in June 2023. According to Rick Pedersen, CEO of QualiTech, the integration of Ellison Bakery will allow both companies to scale services, build additional product capabilities, and access a larger market. Stephanie Chattillion, CEO of Ellison Bakery, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the alignment of both companies’ commitment to high-quality products and customer service. The collaboration is anticipated to position QualiTech as a leading provider of specialty ingredients that enhance the sensory components of various food products.
