A newly devised Pureti Inc roadway could help dramatically reduce the harmful emissions of automobiles like never before imagined.
The best part about the Pureti Inc roadway solution is that it doesn't require existing roads to be ripped up or for new ones to be constructed. Instead a special coating is applied to the road. The coating is largely composed of titanium dioxide (which is a naturally occuring compound) that reacts with sunlight and breaks down harmful pollutants. After initial testing Pureti inc found that the presence of nitrogen oxide on their treated road surfaces was as much as 70 percent lower -- a figure which is nothing to scoff at.
