There's more to the composition of the Puntada Coffee Table than legs and a level surface, for the connections between these fundamental components are enhanced with the integration of string. Several holes line the edges of the structure and provide places for bright red rope to be threaded through.

The result is an intriguing stitched aesthetic that expresses the handmade method of the side table's manufacturing. But what you also get with this web of twine are elaborate and perfectly symmetrical patterns that reference the accuracy of its machine-made parts. Birch plywood was cut precisely to form the angular supports and tabletop. Agustina Bottoni also gave the Puntada Coffee Table hinged connections so that it can be collapsed and hung on the wall when it's not needed, serving as unique piece of art.
