Punk-Informed Pearl Necklaces

COMME des GARÇONS Joins Mikimoto on the Punk Pearl Necklace

COMME des GARÇONS works in collaboration with Mikimoto once again and this time, the duo design a punk pearl necklace. This marks the second time the duo join forces and create a genderless jewelry piece, nodding to the aesthetics of both contributing efforts.

The blend of punk influences are informed by the pins dangling on the necklace made of classy sphere pearls. There are eight iterations of the necklaces in total and the new perspective of a pearl necklace is challenged to new and rugged lens. The silver tag dangles on the pearls and features studs, safety pins, and more. Notably, one of the necklaces uses a pin to connect two connected sections of pearls.
