Ovadia & Sons Boast the Punk Agenda in Its Fall 2018 Collection

Vogue calls the newest Ovadia & Sons range "one of [its] strongest collections to date," as the Ovadia & Sons Fall 2018 collection heavily relies on punk fashion designs. Ariel and Shimon Ovadia styled their contemporary collection by fusing two distinct music styles—punk and country.

At first, the punk fashion designs sweep the runway like a revolution. The classic punk plaid is a dominant choice, as it is used in trousers, jackets and patch design work. Juxtaposed with invasive slogans like "Know Your Rights," the clothing communicates the rebellious, liberating and unapologetic attitude of the punk agenda. Later, the Ovadia & Sons collection bleeds into a softer tonality of animal print, denim and a tan color scheme, eventually boasting a pullover with a mirrored design of two cowboys.
