These PUMA 'evoPOWER' Pop Art Shoes are Inspired by 1950s Artworks

‘PUMA’ recently debuted its latest pair of PUMA ‘evoPOWER’ soccer cleats, which boast a bold pattern inspired by Pop Art. Mario Balotelli is the creative mind behind the brightly colored cartoon-like shoe design.

The playfully bright design features an array of colors including yellows, oranges and blues. Both the left and right shoe feature comic book-inspired phrases that read “BAM!” and “POW!” The idea behind these shoes is to give the wearer a sense of animated confidence that is meant to translate into excitement and motivation for the sports game.

While previous versions of the PUMA evoPOWER soccer shoes feature bright, eye-catching colorways, this particular version boasts a unique theme of comic books and pop art. These retro 50s-themed cleats will be available for purchase on November 16, 2015.
