The Tortilla Protein Pots have been launched by the UK-based Mexican cuisine restaurant as a light menu item that doesn't skimp on taste or nutrition to work well for consumers this summer.
The high-protein meal options are priced at £5 each and are positioned as a light lunch, post-gym snack or quick bite to enjoy between meals, depending on the preferences of consumers. The Protein Pots start off with your choice of two scoops of Chicken Asado, Beef Barbacoa, Pulled Pork or Vegan Chilli, which comes with two toppings and a slice of lime. The pots contain as much as 62-grams of protein per serving.
Director of Food James Garland spoke on the Tortilla Protein Pots saying, "As we head into summer, I’m excited to introduce the next phase of our core menu revamp. This is the perfect opportunity to build on the foundations that make Tortilla the go-to for fresh, bold, flavour-driven food, starting with our Salad category refresh and the all-new Protein Pot side offering."
