Organic Valley Debuts Protein Plus Ultra-Filtered Milk

Organic Valley has introduced a new product line called Protein Plus Ultra-Filtered Milk. This range offers enhanced nutritional content through a specialized filtration process while maintaining the organic and pasture-raised standards associated with the farmer-owned cooperative.
The Protein Plus Ultra-Filtered Milk line includes whole, reduced-fat, and fat-free varieties. Each option includes 13 grams of protein per serving, which represents an increase of approximately 50% compared to conventional milk, alongside a reduction in sugar content to six grams per serving, or roughly 50% less than standard options.
Organic Valley's production process begins on small family farms where cows graze on pasture and are raised without antibiotics, synthetic hormones, toxic pesticides, or genetically modified organisms. The ultra-filtration technique concentrates the naturally occurring protein by selectively removing water, lactose, and a portion of minerals.
