The Virgil Abloh x Mercedes-Benz G-Class 'Project Geländewagen' is a new collaborative automotive example created with fashion and art in mind. The SUV sees the iconic G-Wagen transformed into a low-slung art-piece racer that features a monochromatic paint job on the exterior along with no indicators or outside mirrors. The interior is paired with a safety frame, a digital dashboard and a series of racing-spec bucket seats, which is further enhanced with bright red and baby blue safety features.

The Virgil Abloh x Mercedes-Benz G-Class 'Project Geländewagen' is being replicated into 1:3 scale models that will be auctioned off as part of the Sotheby's Contemporary Curated event. Proceeds of the event will go towards a charity that supports international creative communities.
