Probiotic Beer Innovations

Restuarant Chain Brewerkz and NUS Debuted the Probicient Beer

The National University of Singapore (NUS) recently joined forces with bar and restaurant chain Brewwerkz to launch a new probiotic-infused beer, dubbed Red Billion Probiotic Raspberry Sour Beer. The new beverage boasts one billion of 'Lactobacillus paracase' L26 per serving and contains 4.5% ABV that helps to regulate the body's immune system, neutralize toxins and viruses, and more.

In addition, the Red Billion Probiotic Raspberry Sour Beer is reported to promote gut health and enhance microbiome activity in the gut. However, the beverage needs to be kept chilled at below five degrees Celsius in order to keep the probiotics alive. In terms of taste, the stunning berry-red beer is packed with a fruity freshness of tart raspberries, delivering an explosive tangy punch in every sip.
