Mistlabs has launched Ambi, introducing proactive ambient AI assistants that can interpret ongoing activities and suggest actions before users request help. Unlike conventional assistants that respond to individual questions, Ambi continuously develops contextual awareness, allowing it to identify relevant information, prepare recommendations, and support decisions as situations unfold.
Its Routine feature coordinates multiple AI agents to examine meeting discussions, verify information, and prepare draft proposals. The system also preserves context across compatible Apple devices, including iPhones, MacBooks, and Apple Watches. Future updates will introduce communication between independent AI agents, enabling them to identify shared priorities during negotiations.
For businesses, these capabilities could reduce time spent on research, meeting preparation, and project coordination. Following US$26 million in funding, Mistlabs is also developing dedicated wearable hardware, creating opportunities to extend its software beyond existing devices.
