Forlorn Bedroom Shoots

The Private Elegance Vogue Italia Editorial is Heartbreaking

The Private Elegance Vogue Italia editorial is exactly what the title suggests: a stylish affair kept in closed quarters.

Photographed by Paolo Roversil, the photo shoot is set in a dimly lit bedroom with nothing other than a bed and seat covered in sheets of plastic. Model Ondria Hardin looks like a forlorn lover trying to forget her beau while dressed up in her finest furs and dresses. Despite the lovely ensembles styled by Jacob K, it's difficult to not focus your attention on the longing distant stare etched across Hardin's face throughout the images. What I love most about the shoot is Hardin's beautiful gray blue hair which offers a visualization of the heartbreaking romance she may have just experienced.
