Monica Bellucci graces the pages of Prestige Hong Kong’s October 2013 issue. Bellucci, photographed here by Philippe McClelland, dons ritzy, upscale fashions, including a bejeweled gold crown for the cover shot. In another photo, Bellucci wears a gilded, gem-strewn corset and covers her signature, full-lipped pout with a dramatic red lipstick.
Bellucci serves as a muse to Italian design house Dolce and Gabbana. Of her role, Bellucci tells Prestige, “I think that we keep working together today because we are inspired by the same things - even movies and actresses - which come from our culture: the films of Fellini, Rossellini, Visconti, and De Sica, leading ladies like Anna Magnani, Sophia Loren, [...] and this kind of femininity that’s very Italian.”
The Italian leading lady, who is arguably as iconic as the names she listed, embraces her curves in feminine, figure-hugging ensembles.
