Smurfit Kappa recently teamed up with the juice brand Pressade to sell fruit juice in its user-friendly Pouch-Up packages. Not only does the new packaging make it easier for consumers to serve themselves, but it also adds a fun and interactive element to the process of grabbing a drink.
The 'La Fabrique à jus' line from Pressade consists of three different fruit juices sold in handy, 3L Pouch-Up packets. The Pouch-Up packets are unique in that they contain a handy spout at the bottom for easy serving. The packaging is meant to be functional, but also a fun and interactive experience for children. The idea is that the easy-pour spouts help to differentiate the juice as a fun and fresh alternative to soda and other carbonated drinks packaged in upright bottles. As Pressade's product manager Catherine Bererd explains, the pouches are "an innovative way to re-transform fruit juice consumption"
