London-based product design duo Design On Impulse created a new portable smartphone charger that can easily fit onto a keychain.
Unlike other bulky external batteries on the market, 'The Nipper' is an ultra-lightweight solution for when you need an emergency charge for your smartphone. Simply stick two AA batteries inside the lightweight strap-connected magnetic clasps and plug it into your device for an extra kick of power. When you're done, just fold 'The Nipper' back up and away you go.
AA batteries were chosen for this portable smartphone charger because of their widespread availability in stores and also for how commonly they're often found in other devices. If you cant make it to the local corner store to buy some, chances are that something around your home will have two AA batteries you can use in a pinch.
