Popcorn kernels are sort of like snowflakes in terms of their individuality and unique shape. Designer Nicole Kolberg was inspired by such uniqueness and created a line of popcorn rings to demonstrate pretty individual jewelry pieces.
The popcorn rings come in gold or black and are textured to look exactly like a kernel of popcorn. Each ring is completely individual and is definitely an attention-grabber.
Implications - Consumers are no longer looking to blend into the crowd, but are opting to express their individuality. This desire has reflected onto the marketplace, which is adapting to offer customizable or personalized products. Companies should consider incorporating these types of products into their lines to appeal to consumers who wish to stand out.
