Pop up books are turning out to be a massive hit with nostalgic adults. As you would expect publishers have cashed in on this trend and a whole new range of pop up titles, aimed at adults, is set to hit the shelves. Subjects include sex, underwear, Elvis, Mummies and even Alfred Hitchcock.
Experts say that adults are turning to pop up books are a way of interacting directly with a product - not through a computer or by using other technology. The leader in this market is Barnes & Noble with their best selling "Pop - Up Book of Celebrity Meltdowns". It includes pop up 3D action of Janet Jackson and her infamous wardrobe malfunction. A sequel to this book is expected in 2007.
