Polar Skate Co. Unveils a Weatherized Functional Capsule
Sweden-based label Polar Skate Co. unveils its latest collection designed for the Winter 2020 season. The lookbook showcases British skater James Platt adorned in the latest designs. The capsule features a series of fun board graphics as well as some apparel that go with it.
The theme is artful and political all at once, ensuring that every item is fused with deeper meaning. There are ACAB designs in the collection that is made by artist R.Mettz, detailing a number of items with "ACAB" which means "All Cops are Bastards." This references issues that stem from racial inequality and police brutality, making sure that it is known where the brand stands. Notably, the capsule features the first-ever skate pajamas, which is a concept that is imagined by Platt.
