Poetic Wind seems to be the window treatment version of the beaded curtain, except that it's much more effective at providing shade from the sun. Constructed of hundreds of tiny hexagonal pieces threaded together by rows of fine string, the blind system may provide up to about 95% sunlight blockage -- but that's not how you're meant to use it.
The beauty of this piece by Hengchong Yu is the way that it interacts against an open window and invites the breeze to pass through. Under these conditions it is impossible to keep every little tile facing flat and instead you end up with a dynamic mosaic of different angles, colors and beams of light shining in. Poetic Wind can become as subtle or as stimulating as you like, depending partially on the hues chosen to adorn each six-sided chip.
