Plugable introduced a line of USB-C charging cables designed to prevent juice jacking, featuring physically omitted data lines so devices receive power without any data transfer. The range launched with three lengths—a 1m/3.3ft, a 2m/6.6ft and a 15cm/6in pack—each using an E-Marker chip to support charging up to 240W while ensuring no USB data communication occurs.

The cables were built with visible red strain relief and spec tags to help users quickly identify power-only cords. They aim to serve travelers and frequent users of public charging stations who face risks at airports, trains and kiosks, offering a low-friction way to reduce exposure to malicious access.
