The system maintains a rounded design that is finished with a shiny exterior and calls to mind the original PlayStation console that boasted a round CD compartment cover set against the squarish main body. The unit would thus be positioned as a back-to-basics upgrade on the original that would be well-suited for being left out in the open in living rooms and gaming dens.
The PlayStation 5 Pro concept is designed with a CD slot in the front section along with two USB-C ports for powering up controllers, an HDMI out port, an Ethernet connection, digital audio output and a USB-A port to finish.
