The Billie Green Plant-Based Mortadellas have been announced by the Germany-based brand as a vegan-friendly range of deli products perfect for elevating a sandwich or recipe with a touch of premium flavor.
The products come in three flavors including Classic, Garden Herb and Cherry Pepper, which are described by the brand as being mildly spicy, herbaceous and fruit-forward, respectively. The products each have a rapeseed oil formulation and are rich in unsaturated fatty acids and fiber, while also being free from artificial colorings and preservatives.
The Billie Green Plant-Based Mortadellas come as part of a larger push towards vegan-friendly takes on classic products in Europe that are being developed to satiate the increasing proclivity towards animal-free foods.
