Flavored Dairy-Free Cheese Bites

Plant-Based Babybel is Debuting in Two New Flavors in France

Consumers opting to give a dairy-free lifestyle a try this month are likely to appreciate the launch of these new plant-based Babybel products in France that prioritize flavor, but also nutrition.

The dairy-free cheese product features the brand's signature round, wax-coated portions which are each crafted with no animal-derived ingredients to make them suitable for vegetarians and vegans alike. The product comes in a classic cheese-style flavor alongside a smoky barbecue option, which are both made with bean protein, coconut and sunflower, starches and natural colorings, while also being fortier with calcium and vitamin B12.

Food Product Development Manager at Bel Group Marc Le Boedec spoke on the new plant-based Babybel products saying, "It’s not just a new product on the shelves, it’s the culmination of months of passion, research, and relentless teamwork to offer a plant-based alternative without compromising on fun.”
