The Google Pixel Buds have recently been update, marking a number of different improvements.
Most notable is a lag reduction to audio output along with improvements to a past issue where the earbuds would not report a full charge when at 100% battery. Another update-related improvement is a better Bluetooth connection -- previously it would take longer for the headphones to connect to Bluetooth whereas they will now connect within seconds. Google also stated that if users have a "Tap to Connect" notification that does not work, it can reset and repair their Google Pixel Buds.
This update will be released in different stages so some users may need to wait a few days.
