Pip-Boy 3000 Replica from Bethesda Includes Screen & Radiation Detector

— March 13, 2026 — Art & Design
The Pip-Boy 3000 replica is a wearable electronic device created by Bethesda in collaboration with The Wand Company and modeled directly from the wrist computer seen in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. The Pip-Boy 3000 replica features a 4-inch IPS LCD display that reproduces the games’ menus and interfaces, allowing users to scroll through maps, stats, and inventory screens using physical dials and buttons on the device. The interface can switch between the green display style used in Fallout 3 and the amber interface from New Vegas.

The wearable device includes several built-in functions such as an FM radio, flashlight, headphone jack, alarm clock mode, and a playable version of the in-game minigame Atomic Command. A simulated Geiger counter measures radiation from FM radio broadcasts and displays readings with sound effects that mimic the franchise’s radiation detection system.

Trend Themes

  1. Wearable Gaming Computers — A wrist-mounted device that runs full game interfaces and sensors opens possibilities for portable, persistent gaming experiences outside traditional consoles.
  2. Nostalgic-authentic Replicas — Replica hardware that faithfully reproduces vintage game aesthetics and interfaces can shift consumer demand toward collectible tech that blends function with fandom.
  3. Gamified Environmental Sensors — Embedding playful, game-like readouts onto real-world sensors creates new user expectations for informative devices that also entertain and engage.

Industry Implications

  1. Consumer Electronics — Miniaturized displays and integrated input controls suggest new product categories of wrist-worn computers that compete with smartphones and dedicated wearables.
  2. Gaming and Entertainment — Game publishers and hardware partners partnering on branded physical devices indicate expanded revenue streams beyond software and downloadable content.
  3. Fashion and Wearables — Closely styled tech accessories that double as costume pieces point toward demand for designer electronics that merge aesthetics with interactive function.
