The Pine A64 is a miniature computer that is inspired by the likes of the Raspberry Pi but allows for a higher degree of performance. Available for just $15, the micro-computer is available for pre-order on Kickstarter.
This device measures only 5 inches by 3.125 inches, and is powered by a qua-core ARM Cortex A53 1.2 GHz processor and can support up to 2 GB of RAM. Its microSD slot can work with cards with capacities of up to 256 GBs. It offers support for gigabit ethernet, USB connectivity and stereo mini-jack connections. This is pretty incredible considering just how small the computer is.
The Pine A64 is an open source-dependent platform, and so makes for an affordable way for people with keen computing minds to help make their ideas reality.
