Paddle Spot-Inspired Sandwiches

Subway Created the New Pickleball Club Sandwich with Andy Roddick

Subway recently teamed up with tennis legend Andy Roddick to create an unexpected new offering: the Pickleball Club Sandwich.

For those unfamiliar, pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong in one fast-paced game. The sport has been booming in popularity in recent years and now it's reached a whole new level of mainstream success: having a sandwich named after it. The new Pickleball Club Sandwich puts Roddick's signature topspin on the traditional club sandwich. The sandwich pairs Black Forest ham with double the American cheese, strips of crispy hickory smoked bacon, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and Subway's newest two ingredients extra flavorful Honey Mustard and thicker, crunchier dill pickles.

The new Pickleball Club Sandwich will be available from Subway restaurant on April 27th, but the brand is also presenting the sandwich earlier during the Pickleball Slam tournament on April 2, 2023.
