Philippe Malouin is a designer who is based in London. With his latest project, he attempts to break the myths and traditions of office furniture. The collection, which is set to debut officially at the 2019 Design Miami/Basel, presents an eclectic assortment of pieces — from yellow cubbies for storage to ultra-chic armchairs.
When creating the footprint of the capsule, Philippe Malouin focused on aesthetic and functionality. Each design is crafted with industrial materials such as "dyed nylon and polyurethane-coated steel." In addition, the appearance is supplemented with an incredibly vibrant color palette that is sure to uplift the atmosphere and the general mood in any office. This emphasis on chromatic expression is also tied to highlighting the "industrial provenance" of each design by Philippe Malouin.
