The 'Petal Chair' is a wellness-focused seating solution that will offer sitters a place to rest easy while reading or relaxing and also support their daily meditative practices when desired.
The chair features a high back along with a set of arms on the side that spread out like wings and maintain a low-level position that will offer just the right amount of support. Sitters can use the chair to sit in Sukhasana, which is the simple cross-legged position that is traditionally used for meditation in Buddhism and Hinduism. This will help the sitter to feel supported and help with restoring balance.
The 'Petal Chair' is the design work of the Alter Ego Studio and is the Bronze Winner of the 2019 European Product Design Award.
