SEGA announced that it is releasing a large, multipurpose update for the Japanese role-playing game 'Persona 4 Golden' (P4G) on Steam. This update is arriving just ahead of the release of the title for modern consoles, namely the Playstation 5. The game itself launched on PC devices via Steam on June 13th, 2020, as a near-direct port from the original Playstation 3 console.
Now, SEGA is bringing P4G into the next generation with 64-bit support, graphical improvements and more graphical settings, high-performance improvements, completely restructured game files for smoother, more consistent gameplay, improved frame times, minor UI adjustments across the entire game, and various quality-of-life improvements that are sure to enhance the PC experience of the game drastically, bringing it more in-line with the recent Persona 5 release for PC.
