The Peloton Watch App Uses the Google Wear OS Watch as a Sensor

The updated Peloton Watch App has been unveiled as a more deeply integrated way for spin bike riders to track their progress and connect with their equipment. The app enables Google OS Wear watch users to utilize the device as a heart rate monitor as they exercise, which will enable real-time monitoring and allow for comparisons between exercises. The app can be accessed on all smartwatches running Wear OS 3.0 or higher including the Samsung Galaxy Watch4, Watch4 Classic, Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Watch5, the Pixel Watch and more.

The updated Peloton Watch App is supported by Peloton's whole lineup of equipment including the Bike, Bike+, Guide, Tread and Row. Users will be able to intuitively pair their device with the system before beginning for a more cohesive workout experience.
