This chair resembles a mixture between a peacock and an accordion. The Dror Studio paired up for their first collaboration with a furniture manufacturer name Cappellini.

The peacock chair is designed by Dror Benshetrit and it is made of three sheets of felt and a simplistic frame made of metal.

The great part about this comfy piece of furniture is that “no sewing, weaving or upholstery are involved in the production of the piece.”

Implications - Consumers have an affinity for eccentrically designed furniture because they feel the unique design elements add extra intrinsic value to the product. As such, corporations should craft goods with highly idiosyncratic designs as consumers are willing to pay more for items that differ from the norm.
