These Pawel Mildner illustrations may not require extreme amounts of technical skill to create, but they still accomplish the task of invoking emotions out of viewers exceedingly well. Who can look upon these whimsical images for extended periods of time without feeling lighthearted, as though all the problems in the world seemingly don't matter?
Pawel Mildner is a Wroclaw-based graphic designer and illustrator. The lack of technical flair is actually a conscious choice on Mildner's part, as he prefers the look of mid-century analog art as opposed to the digital imagery that currently saturates mainstream media. The illustrations he produces also have a childlike quality to them, as he uses vibrant colors and renders cutely proportioned characters. Just look at how adorable tennis star Martina Hingis looks when filtered through Mildner's mind and hands.
