Bi-Cultural Australian Eateries

Papi Chulo Offers Authentic Latin Cuisine in the Heart of Sydney

Located ion the heart of Sydney Harbour in Australia, Papi Chulo is a restaurant spotlighting authentic and fresh Latin American cuisine. The bi-cultural eatery was brought to life by architecture firm Akin Creative who conceptualized its bold interior design.

Spanning 400 square meters in size, Papi Chulo boasts stunning views of the water and features a bright and neutral color scheme. The mostly white interior is accented with patterned tile work, and woven furniture, giving it a more casual and comfortable feel, despite its gourmet menu.

Curated by chefs Patrick Friesen and Christopher Hogarth, Papi Chulo specializes in artisanal Latin American dishes, inspired by Brazilian cuisine in particular. Fusing two cultures, this hybrid restaurant is a favorite among native Australians seeking to try authentic Latin cuisine, along with Latin visitors looking for a taste of home while abroad.
