Canned Meat Collages

The work of artist Sarah Illenberger is so varied and creative that at first glance it would be hard to pick out her works—they just do not follow any traditional style.

I am particularly fond of these collages made from canned meat. What brilliant (or not so brilliant) timing, what with the swine flu kicking off and all. It really is just amazing what she can create from a substance that isn’t traditionally thought of as an art medium.
