The creative's version of the guilt-free resource taps bacterial cellulose sheets and the innovation is geared toward personal care products and cosmetics. The feel of the packaging alternative is described to occupy the qualitative state between plastic and paper. To create it, Elena Amato mixes water, bacteria, and scobi. The yeast culture is sourced from local Kombucha producers. Following the blend, the mixture is spread out and left to dry. Different colors are achieved through infusion with natural pigments.
