Oxygen Yoga and Fitness, a Vancouver-based gym, developed plans to safely reopen its gym amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The yoga center's showers, cubbies, change rooms, and water coolers are closed and both its towel service is suspended.
In addition, Oxygen Yoga and Fitness' classes will be at a reduced capacity and will implement Plexiglas barriers between yoga mats, which will also be placed two meters apart. All yoga mats will be individually-packed and guests will be required to wear face masks. As expected, vigorous sanitization measures will be also be implemented between classes using an industrial-strength disinfectant. Classes have been shortened to ensure an adequate amount of time is left for cleaning between sessions.
