Overlay.tv is an interactive media company with our head office residing in Ottawa Canada and we have developed a innovative platform for interactive video and advertising.

Overlay.tv was launched in Beta on Feb 14 2008 and is an alternative to pre and post reel advertisements. The idea blossomed with need for more information about the products in online video or a TV show. Overlay.tv's alternative is click able product placement and information within the video player's real estate during the video playback. Overlay provides a video commerce platform that enables Internet users, content owners and e-commerce sites to monetize and customize their video assets by overlaying contextual information directly onto online video content and linking to external websites.

The video submitted is an example of how the technology can be used. The band is The Teenagers who will eventually take over the music world.
