This next-generation outdoor camping tent features two impressive design accents that enable the structure to be independent energy-wise. This includes the Solar-Air Tube system as well as the Sound Drum.
The Solar-Air Tube system works by capturing the energy from the sun and transferring it into electricity for use within the tent. Secondly, the system makes use of this energy to power fans that keep the tent warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The Sound Drum is designed to catch the sound created by the wind, raindrops, birds and bugs, which is then filtered into the tent to help bring the sound of nature inside the dwelling.
The outdoor camping tent is the design work of Shim Jieun, Won Boram, Oh Seobin, Kook Soo Jeong and Seok Jiyoung, and is the winner of the coveted Red Dot Award for Design.
